Products & Sales
 The initial production has started on 6/04/2002 with an annual capacity of 1.4 Million MT of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) that complies to Egyptian standard No. 373/1991 &
European Standard N 197.1 CEM I 42.5 N .
The Clinker production has increased from 1,433,023 MT in 2003 to 1,663,000 in 2007 (the initial target was 1,350, 000 MT); this means an increase of 23% during this period.
On the other hand, Cement production noted an increase of 26, 8 % during the same period. It rose from 1,073,188 MT to 1,776,000 respectively.
SALES:
Local Market : The sales of the company's products at the local market have increased during the period 2003-2007 by 23%. This achievement has been in line with the strategy and policy set up by the company.
In 2003, the cement dispatches amounted to 970,635 MT and increased to 1,199,277 in 2007.
In the meantime, the amount of bagged cement has scored substantial increase by reaching 1,106,106 MT while bulk cement amounted to 93, 171, 35
Export:
In year 2005, the company has met all the demands contracted for, which amounted to 515,055 MT. This quantity has increased substantially compared with that of 2004 amounting 240,043.
The delivered quantity of bagged cement was 397,158 MT
The bulk cement 117,897 MT
During this year the price of cement export has been adjusted to meet increasing demands.
Due to the Red Sea Governor Decision the company has halted export of clinker in order to avoid caused pollution at Safaga Harbor. Therefore, it concentrated on increasing export of bagged and bulk cement in addition to increasing their prices.
At present the company is undertaking all necessary procedures for establishing private quay at Safaga port that will simplify export process.
In year 2007, the company has met all demands contracted for, which amounted to 584,803 MT. This quantity has slightly decreased compared with that of 2003 amounting 606,208 mainly reasoned by company's orientation to local market.
